Climate Works came to my house within 3 hours after I called them when the A/C on my heat pump stopped working. It was a crazy hot day so I was incredibly grateful for their prompt service. They were in and out of here in an hour and fixed my issue very quickly. It is so nice to have A/C again. Thank goodness Climate Works came out quickly so that I didn't have to suffer in a hot house for more than a few short hours. Thanks so much to Ben and Cody for providing such great service.

I called to have a pool heater bypass installed. I had three different conversations with the person the other end of the line with specifics on model number of the heater and what needed to be bypassed. He kept insisting that an assessment call had to be made and it would be $150.00 for that. I felt I had no choice and accepted. The first visit was cancelled because the technician was running late. The second call was scheduled for between 8-11:00. The guy showed up at 7:30 am. He looked at the job, said it would take a couple of hours and that he had to get parts. He then verbally gave me a price. He leaves, saying about 20 minutes and that there is a supply store not far. I get a missed call that I return just after 9:00 am, it’s the tech, he sorry, he had to wait for the store to open to buy parts. He does the job and his price is close to the quote, however his time is 3.5 hours, almost double his estimate. I paid him but called their office, saying I should not have yo pay an hour of time spent waiting for the store to open because he arrived early and before business hours. They tell me that sounds reasonable and that they will call back. Their answer, the price came in at the quote, case closed. The tech provided me with a little paper asking for Google reviews and a barcode link to the site. So here it is, but it is likely not what they wanted my score to be.

Outstanding customer service from booking the appointment to getting the work done, Ben was very friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable about know how to locate the source of the problem since it wasn’t evident or visible of where the leak was coming from, he was able to pin point it and provided the necessary info and closed off the valve to avoid from water seeping into other areas. The company we used 20 years ago installed the ducts incorrectly, they fixed the issue and now the ducts work the way they should and when the AC is on the house feels so fresh. It was a very tricky install in a very confined space. Troubleshooting an acoustic problem with the unit was extremely difficult but ClimateWorks persisted until a solution was found. Outstanding service. Again, 5/5 stars. UPDATE: Feb. 19, 2025: ClimateWorks just completed an emergency service on my Lennox furnace last night (Kent Raymond). Terrific work. We just had our ducts cleaned by Climate Works today. The young man Cameron, who showed up at our door was kind and courteous. He communicated well every step of the process and answered any questions we had. He did a really good job cleaning our ducts and making sure they were done right. I'm very happy and impressed by how smooth the entire process for duct and dryer vent cleaning went. From the initial request on their website, Maya responded within a day with some follow-up questions and provided an estimate on the cost. Maya has been extremely responsive from start to finish. Cameron completed the duct and dryer vent cleanings. An automated text message is sent indicating he was on his way. Cameron showed up on time and was transparent about what he will be doing and how work will be done. Cameron was friendly and takes care on his work. The invoice was exactly as discussed with Maya and the entire process was smooth. The air quality in the home is now much lighter and not a musty. There is only 5-star praise I can post about the end to end staff at ClimateWorks. From the sales experience with Jeff who was very open, clear, and honest and never once left us feeling pressured. To the planning phase with Jamie who presented the various install/retrofit options and was clear explaining potential installation challenges that may occur. To the installation phase with Ryan and Rob who were incredibly professional and ensured that none of the potential risks and damages that Jamie had cautioned about occurred. They replaced our furnace and AC, and replaced the venting through a finished basement without any damage. They ensured that matts were laid down from door to furnace and left without as much as a spec of dust behind. By contrast, we had met also engaged with 2 other reputable HVAC companies besides with ClimateWorks and the others we felt entirely like we were purchasing a used car from slimy curb-sider. The entire staff at ClimateWorks understand the importance of customer service and professionalism while performing 1st class service. They have done our HRV, cleaned our heating ducts, and now replaced our heating and AC - ClimateWorks seems unique in the vetting process of their staff as everyone we've dealt with has the same level of quality and professionalism with dealing with customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone and happy to provide offline comments to anyone that wants to reach out to me.

Recent top notch install of a heat pump replacing an old geothermal system and oil-fired backup. From Maya in the front office, to the sales team and finally install crew led by Cody, all was professionally handled and efficiently installed. Response to my non-urgent service request was quick, Alex was very thorough checking my Ecobee settings, making some adjustments as he went. He explained everything, including the "Why" of what to do. He also checked our system to make sure it was working as intended, giving tips on what we should do as homeowners. (He also laughed at my jokes!). His tutorial was so good, I suggested he should write a users guide on how to set and operate a Moovair heat pump with an Ecobee control. Very pleased with Climate Works, they installed a 4 head multi-split heat pump for me. It was a difficult install (I was particular about what I wanted) but the team handled it and did a really good job, everything was installed cleanly and professionally. All the ducting, wiring, tubing etc was tight and cleanly organized, and the breakers were appropriately labeled. The team walked me through the system once it was installed and made sure I understood everything. The team took good care of my house the two days they were here, leaving it clean and tidy even in the evening between work days.

I had two jobs done today, furnace/AC maintenance check and duct cleaning. The hvac service Tech was here first and did an excellent job and provided many helpful tips to keep my furnace/AC units running at their best. He was vey professional and knowledgeable. The duct cleaning tech was here after him but was early. He did a great job but 2 issues I noticed are 1. the large cleaning hose was laid through the house without any protective covers under it. 2. After he left i inspected what was supposed to be a new furnace filter but turned out to be one of my older used filters I had left on the side to take out to the trash. Otherwise all went well.

Two years ago I gave this company a very good review for work well done. However, now two years later I've a different story to tell. I called to find out about getting some more HVAC work done in our house and was asked to send my request in an email to two CW employees describing the work I would like done. To my surprise, no one replied so I sent two follow-ups, again no reply, not even an acknowledgement of any of my letters. Perhaps company philosophy or owner has changed? One week, and no response from them. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend using this company and I would suggest looking elsewhere for responsive, professional HVAC work. (Addendum: And even after they have no doubt read this negative review, no one has reached out or made contact. Not my idea of good business practice). Here is one good client lost.

We had done our gas pipe and gas range installation couple of years back. The gas pipe and range installation was done alright. However, on a recent inspection it was found that anti-tip is not installed in the gas range. I called the climate works guy multiple times, left voice messages and texted them. These guys are complete unprofessional. It was their responsibility to install the anti-tip bracket which came along with the gas range. I will never avail their service again.

I recommend this company. We wanted a heat pump for a loft area in our house, after several quotes from other companies, I chose climate works. Sales person listened to what we needed, gave us good advice and options, perfect. Installation was efficient and quick. Had a small issue with one function on the heat pump after the install, called them, again it was handled professionally. They sent a service tech out, Alex, he was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the system, fixed the issue with ease. On top of that he went the extra mile to look at our existing furnace and AC unit and again gave great advice on how best to maintain and use them to the fullest. This is obviously a well run company, every person we made contact with did a fantastic job.

My furnace keep blowing the 3 amp fuse, Alex arrived and took a couple of hours trying to find the cause which he did, he never gave up until he found the root of the problem. He was extremely professional and explained each step he was taking in detail. Alex also provided me some valuable information on air filters for my furnace which was much appreciated. The cost was very fair and I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

I absolutely cannot recommend using Climate Works. I got a quote from Climate Works to replace our old AC and furnace with a heat pump and furnace in March of 2022, and placed a deposit shortly after. The install didn't end up happening until August of 2022, despite the fact they told us the install would be about a month out. I understand that supply chain issues were happening and often still are. However, their communication in the months between getting the deposit and actually installing the equipment was non-existent, which is unacceptable. We started having issues with the heat pump in October of 2022 - it sometimes wouldn't turn on when the thermostat called for heat. Since October they've had techs out 8 times to try and fix it, but the problems have only gotten worse. Heating mode on the heat pump is completely broken, so we ended up unable to use the heat pump for almost the entirety of winter. Every time a tech came to try to solve the problem I was told someone would be in touch soon. This was never the case. I often waited weeks, and then had to follow up with them several times to get them to come out again. If not for the fact that the heat pump is under warranty with them, I would have turned to another company long ago. After the 8th failed attempt from them at fixing the heat pump, they agreed to replace it. That was over 6 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything further. I have gotten no response when calling or emailing them to try to get an update, so as far as I can tell I'm going to be stuck with a broken heat pump indefinitely. If you like having equipment installed that doesn't work and can't be fixed, having to follow up several times to get a simple service appointment, and generally being ignored, I highly recommend Climate Works. Otherwise, stay away.

Climate Works has serviced our domestic hot water, heating, and cooling system for many years. Last Saturday, a circulator pump began to leak in our domestic hot water system. We left a message for Climate Works and Monday morning they called to confirm that a technician would arrive that afternoon. Alex arrived at 2, diagnosed the problem, went to get the new pump and had it installed in a new and improved configuration by 7 p.m. He worked quickly and steadily to get the job done in a single afternoon, working into the evening to complete the task. A job well done as always.

As the owner of a 7 year old Mitsubishi heat pump, I needed an organization for potential service calls. The original installation company had ceased business. My first approach was to contact a local Mitsubishi approved organization by phone and email. No Response. I then found Climate Works and Tim responded immediately. Service has been provided by both James and Alex who are both detailed technicians. The recent situation was serviced by Alex and during his investigation of the problem he found several problems from the initial installation that were not up to standard. Through diagnostics the problem was identified and fixed. I appreciate the attention to detail. problem.

Our indirect electric water tank on our combined hydronic heating and domestic water system started leaking on a Sunday evening, with water running over the basement floor. Avoiding an expensive emergency service call, Climate Work's tech Alex walked me through adjusting a complex series of shut-off valves over Facetime. Creative thinking and a practical solution to stem the leak until he could make a regular service call Monday afternoon. Alex worked non-stop from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday to replace the tank and make a series of other repairs and adjustments, getting our domestic hot water and hydronic heating up and running. He was cheerful, helpful and industrious throughout this demanding urgent project.

From the moment I called to set the initial appointment to get a bid, to the last handshake before they drove away after the install, was the most honest, informative, trustworthy, professional, personable and hard-working company. There was no high pressure sales pitch, instead I was educated and shown options that fit my wants and needs. The technicians Derek, Jayden and Joey arrived right on time, like a small army of expert technicians, and removed the existing equipment, installed the new A/C and heat pump all within 3 1/2 hours. I had a good experience with booking the appointment, the techs arrived on time and were courteous. The reason for the low rating is: 1. The techs informed me that they had a new truck that they had not used before and told me it was under powered. This was evident when I held a sheet of paper up to vents and the suction wouldn't hold it in place during the process. 2. The techs do not cover vents with a magnetic cover like other companies. Due to this during the cleaning a lot of debris fell onto my bed. The tech cleaned it with their dirty shopvac. 3. The techs did not help each other carrying hoses from the basement as a result put marks on the stairway walls. 4. I asked the techs to have someone from the office follow up with me and no one did.

Alex was awesome! Showed up right on time, was really efficient and really explained the issues that were causing problems with out AC. We had just moved into our new place in October and didn’t think anything of it to turn it on when the hot weather came and nothing; wouldn’t turn on at all! Well Alex came in and showed us different ways the system works, what could be wrong and then looked at the unit and oh boy was this thing filthy! (Previous tenants didn’t think cleaning the AC unit was a good idea I guess). Alex also thought a piece of the unit may have been faulty, but after a good cleaning everything was ok and good to go! We know exactly what to do to maintain our AC now and we’d probably still be melting in our house if it wasn’t for the quick work and Alex from Climate Works coming out so quickly! Over the past couple of years we have had three different companies come give estimates to install a ductless system. The Climate Works sales rep, Jeff, was the first one who we felt was truly interested in working out a proposal that was fair to both parties. He was low-key, personable, clear communicator... once the deal was done his team, Jamie and Ollie, showed up on time and worked nonstop and without complaint on a challenging installation. They were a pleasure to have in the house. The system looks and works fantastic, the exterior lines fit in beautifully with the flow of the house. Would highly recommend this company without reservation.

my experience with Climate duct cleaning was the best service I have ever received for duct cleaning. First of all, the technician showed up on time that was agreed upon and was informative, courtesy, efficient. He came into the house took the care not to disturb anything and started in the basement with the main supply ducting connection, He came up stairs and started at the back of the house with the hot air supply registers with an air pressure gun hoses to clean the ducts. All supply ducts were cleaned, he proceed to clean the return air ducts. Once completed he asked if we would like a lemon sense in the duct work and he showed us the before and after pictures. I would highly recommend Climate Works to anyone that is looking for a company to do the duct cleaning.

Tankless hot water installation, great team of installers.

Sales Manager Jeff provided thorough and complete information necessary to select Climate Works as the contractor for upgrading our home heating system. Technicians Jamie and Derek then replaced our furnace smoothly and efficiently, including re-routing of pipes and ducting. It was clear they knew their business, from laying down runners to cleaning up the workspace when finished. The moving out of the old unit and installation of the new one was performed safely with regard to walls, floors and household effects.They were cheerful and courteous throughout, always forthcoming with information when questioned. When finished, they briefed on the operation and then test ran the new furnace to their satisfaction, and mine. I am happy to recommend Climate Works.

Very professional, prompt and pleasant. Even went so far as to shovel my walkway because I failed to keep up with the accumulated snow. Also, they found a way to fit in both my service and furnace replacement in the same day, which was super nice because in the service appointment they discovered that continuing to run my furnace would be against safety regulations (due to too much CO being emitted outside), which left me without heat until a replacement was installed. Couldn’t be happier with the company!

Recently had some plumbing work done at my Commercial Address installing a tankless on demand ecco temp hot water system. Kent was very professional and efficient.

From the first encounter with the sales rep, Jeff, to the installers, Jamie and Derrick, who just left with the furnace up and running and everything in the apartment in ship shape, it was an excellent experience. I received great professional service from these three individuals. They are competent and efficient. Jeff was more than patient in answering numerous questions and I believe I got a reasonable and honest quote for the service provided. The installers were amazing. This was NOT an easy installation - removing and installing in an overhead scrawl-pace in the ceiling with plumbing, wiring and a very small access hatch. All three are exceptionally nice people to work with. They will be back in the spring to install new air conditioning. I have total confidence in them.

Got the parts, installed them and checked to insure another no heat call wasn't going to occur quickly. Very professional, would recommend.

I want t give a shout out to technician Alex. Called the afterhours line last night after our boiler started leaking. Alex spent a couple of hours on the phone with me guiding me through a fix that would allow us to run the boiler during a cold night. He showed up today to do a permanent repair, explained everything he was finding, left to get required parts and completed repair in a timely way. After 27 years of owning our home in Dunrobin, we finally had to admit that the summers are getting hotter and opening the windows is no longer a reasonable solution for AC. These guys were professional, competent and very hard working, after the job was completed everything was cleaned up a 100%. We installed in our ductless home a Mitsubishi mini split for heating and AC.

ClimateWorks is in the process of replacing an old forced air electric furnace with an air-source heat pump. A little more complicated than an average residential project. Some problems but they are addressing each one, come as scheduled, and very professional.

We had Climate Works to our home twice this week, on Monday our furnace maintenance was completed by Alex. He was professional, explained what he did and outlined the results. He answered my questions and was pleasant to deal with. He wore his mask, kept physical distance and payment was touch less. On Wednesday we had Steve and Nick clean our ducts and vents. They were great too. Our basement is not easy to work in but they didn't complain. They were careful with their big hose and the rest of their gear. They showed me before and after pics. They were polite, professional and COVID compliant. Climate Works installed our furnace in 2011 and they have maintained it every year since. This company has been great to deal with and this week's service calls were no exception. Thank you Alex, Steve and Nick! And thank you Tim for always accommodating our schedule and being so helpful over the years.
